“Flushable” wipes plagued a high-rise until an OverWatch® Direct In-Line Pump System was installed

The 23-story, 320-unit high-rise in Austin, TX, faced severe operational issues due to frequent clogging in its submersible pump stations, primarily caused by “flushable” wipes. Although marketed as flushable, these wipes would not dissolve and instead formed stubborn clogs when they solidified in the wet well. To address the recurring issues, the building management opted for the OverWatch® Direct In-Line Pump System, which effectively tackled the root cause by eliminating the wet well.
