Waterguard

Waterguard is a new and much improved way to keep drywall up and off of the floor so that it never wicks moisture through the slab or absorbs liquids introduced while mopping, waxing, or shampooing floors--with Waterguard, you reduce the chance for mold and improve indoor air quality.

The secondary benefit of Waterguard is that it fills the required gap between the bottom edge of drywall and the top of slab so that rubber base has a secure backing and is never kicked in by foot traffic or cleaning equipment--with Waterguard, your base stays straight and smooth.

Two additional heights of Waterguard are now available (1 3/4" Waterguard Plus and 3 1/2" tall Waterguard XT) to provide added protection from more significant flooding caused by pipe breaks, sprinkler discharge, or vandalism.  Waterguard Plus and Waterguard XT protect drywall from these common flooding events thereby reducing costly downtime required for remediation. 

Waterguard is a patented PVC extrusion that snaps onto the bottom edge of drywall to maintain better isolation from the slab, better protection from liquids, better quality control, AND seals the gap so your base stays straight and smooth.  No other screws, glue, or caulk are required!
