Where passion begins
JOKODOMUS produces modular indoor and outdoor kitchens
In Salorno, a small village in the mountains of South Tyrol, the family-owned company JOKODOMUS, headed by Josi Kosta, manufactures very special kitchens. These are flexible, mobile kitchen modules, equipped with the most modern devices that can be assembled and combined as needed. Best of all: The kitchens are suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use.
The history of JOKODOMUS began in 1922, when Salorno was looking for a cartwright. Josef Kosta took on this position and settled in the village with his family. His son Oskar was equally interested in wood processing, but also recognised demand among the many butcheries in the vicinity. In 1962 he established Joko as a family-owned company and started with the production of chopping blocks for the professional food sector. His goal: Use wood of selected quality and create high-quality products based on accurate workmanship. Thus he established Joko as a producer and supplier in the Italian and international market.
In 2003, Josi and Franz Kosta took over the company as the third generation of the family, focusing on restructuring and expansion and looking for new challenges. Why not create a product for private households? For people with a passion for good food. People who can appreciate masterly craftsmanship as well as moments of pleasure. The idea behind JOKODOMUS was born.
The product range has grown continuously over the years and now covers several product lines in this market. JOKODOMUS Professional builds on many years of experience in professional food processing. This is supplemented by AUXILIUM, with its mobile kitchen aids: functional kitchen trolleys made of fine materials. The flexible, innovative kitchen modules of the CUN series complete the cooking experience with their impressively clean, architectural design.
