The Fastlane Plus product was the original barrier arm optical turnstile, and includes premium features such as a unique self-resetting breakaway arm safety feature, and an intuitive lane status display to guide users through the system. It can be configured to match the required entry and exit settings the building requires, for example card in/card out or card in/free exit with automatic operation of the barrier arms on exit.
With this model, the user may change the mode of operation to normally open - where the arms close upon an unauthorised entry
attempt - giving a more welcoming appearance. If a greater security presence is required, the units can instantly be changed to work in normally closed mode. The barriers are located towards the exit end of the lane, and the enclosure is longer compared to the 400MA, with an additional set of beams to provide further detection before the barriers to facilitate this normally open mode functionality safely.
The infrared optical system identifies tailgaters as close as 5mm from the authorised pedestrian, thus enforcing a one pass/one entry policy.
The end panel profile is available with round or square options, and the enclosure is finished using 304 brushed stainless steel with Deep Black Quartz Corian for concealed reader mounting. Special finishes and decorative top options are also available.
Each lane has a Fastlane Connect web server to provide LAN functionality for remote control and support
