The Glassgate 400 Plus is an extended version of the Glassgate 400, particularly suited to high security applications. The longer pedestal uses a 36-beam high resolution infrared matrix to ensure best in class detection of people and objects, and can even detect attempted side-by-side dual entry.
Lane widths up to 1200mm are achievable and, despite its robust chassis, the Glassgate 400 Plus maintains aesthetic appeal with its
stylish stainless steel enclosure, giving an open feel.
As with other Fastlane Speedgates, the Glassgate 400 Plus processes up to 1 pedestrian per second, with the barriers designed to close quickly and safely behind users to deter tailgaters. The advanced optical system, with a sidegate detection option for 1.1m & 1.2m lane widths, identifies tailgaters as close as 5mm from the authorised pedestrian, thus enforcing a one pass/one entry policy.
This model is available in four different barrier heights up to 1.8m tall and four different lane width options up to 1.2m, the glass barriers provide a clear deterrent whilst an option of a locking brake ensures that they cannot be pushed open when in a 'closed' mode.
The end panel profile is available with elliptical or square options, and the enclosure is finished using 304 brushed stainless steel with Deep Black Quartz Corian for concealed reader mounting. Special finishes and decorative top options are also available, and each lane has a Fastlane Connect web server to provide LAN functionality for remote control and support.
