The production of ceramics in Znojmo dates back to the 19th century – the oldest in continental Europe. Back then, the figural and decorative elements produced were a testament to the remarkable skills of the local craftsmen. Shortly after 1920, the Znojmo craftsmen were also the first in Europe to produce kiln-fired washbasins, bathtubs and sinks. Today, JIKA products are manufactured in two Czech factories – in Bechyně and Znojmo. Individual products are manufactured using natural materials and the latest technologies. The company’s strategy focuses on compelling design, high quality, perfect functionality a comprehensive product portfolio in all price ranges.
