HIMACS is a solid surface material that can be moulded into any shape. It is widely used for architectural and interior applications, such as sculptural and high performance wall-cladding or kitchen, bathroom and furniture surfaces, in commercial, residential and public space projects. It is composed of acrylic, natural minerals and pigments that come together to provide a smooth, non-porous and visually seamless surface which meets the highest standards for aesthetics, fabrication, functionality and hygiene – offering manifold advantages over

conventional materials.

LX Hausys is born from LG Chem’s spin-off on April 1, 2009. Employing more than 3’500 employees in the world, LX Hausys is split in 3 sections: Windows, Highly Functional Materials/Components and Interior Materials, to which HIMACS belongs. LX Hausys Europe GmbH is the regional headquarters of LX Hausys. The office integrates European Sales & Marketing operations of HIMACS. The Solid Surface material is fabricated in Oksan plant in Korea and in Atlanta’s plant in the USA.
