KM-FSL FIRE PROTECTION INTUMESCENT STRIP FOR COMBUSTIBLE PIPES

M-FSL is a multi-layer strip with fibre glass fabric wrapper and 10 mm internal ecological bio-soluble felt of 128 kg/m³ for high temperatures sandwiched between two layers of 2 mm KM-FF107. In case of fire, the graphitic material inside the wrapper expands, sealing the crossing hole of the pipe.  DESCRIPTION

FUNCTIONALITY

KM-FSL is used to seal the free space between masonry and combustible pipe in the crossing holes.                                  

In case of fire the intumescent strip expands and seals the crossing hole after the melting of the combustible pipe.

    FUNCTIONALITY

    KM-FSL is used to seal the free space between masonry and combustible pipe in the crossing holes.                                  

    In case of fire the intumescent strip expands and seals the crossing hole after the melting of the combustible pipe.                         

    APPLICATION

    Calculate the development of the free space between the pipe to be protected and the masonry; cut the necessary strip of KM-FSL and put it into the hole on the wall or concrete slab, wrapping the pipe to be protected.

    CERTIFICATIONS

    • According to European Standard UNI-EN 1366-3, EI 180 on concrete walls.

    Transport: no restrictions on land, no restrictions ICAO/IATA-DGR (not in direct contact with edible products)
