MD-160 Acoustic Louvre Wall

The MD-160 Acoustic Louvre Walls system is a modern solution designed to reduce noise generated by technical equipment installed on rooftops or building façades—such as HVAC units, ventilation systems, and air conditioning devices. It provides effective acoustic insulation while maintaining a clean, architectural appearance, making it ideal for projects that demand both performance and visual harmony.

The louvers are made of durable extruded aluminium and filled with 50 mm thick acoustic mineral wool, delivering a certified sound reduction of 12 (-1,-2) dB, as confirmed by tests conducted at the accredited Ship Design and Research Centre. The system allows free airflow with an open area of 35.5% and features a fixed louvre pitch of 153 mm.

The MD-160 system can be mounted onto steel, aluminium, or wooden frames, offering flexibility for various construction types. There are no height limitations, and the maximum bracket spacing is 2500 mm, which allows efficient coverage of large technical areas while maintaining structural integrity.

Standard louvre length is 6000 mm, with the option of custom extrusion lengths on request. The system is available in a wide range of RAL colours, as well as in raw aluminium or anodised finishes to match specific project requirements and ensure long-term resistance to weather and mechanical damage.
