The Aptum 246 is an elegant seat with a timeless design and high versatility. This seat has been specially designed for theatres and auditoriums due to its great adaptability to the acoustics requirements of any venue.

Seat and backrest are made with inner frame of beech wood and high quality interlaced elastic belts covered with open cell polyurethane foam. The use of these materials provides a balanced distribution of body weight which ensures an optimal comfort of the user.

The seat folds by means of tilting movement to return to its original position when the seat is vacated. This seat includes a Controlled Soft Rise Technology System to achieve a slow return of the seat without any noise or banging. This mechanism does not require maintenance.

The backrest incorporates a lumbar support that provides great comfort complying with the most rigorous ergonomics standards for seating solutions.

The backrest is fixed to the side panels by means of two polypropylene supports with fiber glass reinforcement, no fixing element is needed. This provides great stability and facilitates the assembly and replacement of the backrest.

The side panels end in a lower steel socket and are fixed to the ground. They can be fully upholstered or in a wood finishing.
