Standing Seam Roof Aluminium PVDF
Color coated aluminium for standing seam roofs, facades and flashings. The quality PX12AL is an extra soft tinsmith quality. The sheet has practically no resilience so that tight seams can be made. The material may be seamed by machine or by hand. PX12AL has a typical yield strength of 100-105 MPA and a typical elongation of 20%.
The paint coating is a PVDF (also known as PVF2) that retains gloss and colour very well. The nominal coating thickness is 25 micron, and the nominal gloss is 30.
Aluminium has a very good resistance to corrosion and can be used until corrosion class C5.
