Toscano - Reconstructed stone facings

- SASSO DI FIUME cenere: 5%

Especificação
  • Cladding supply and laying in reconstructed stone, frost-proof, breathable, low-water absorption of type TOSCANO, ready-blend, from the COLMEF S.r.l. PIETRE D’ARREDO brand, for the cladding of internal and external walls.

For laying, use a natural, anti-efflorescence hydraulic lime-based levelling adhesive with optimal performance and zero vertical slippage of type ARREDOCOLLA from the COLMEF S.r.l. PIETRE D'ARREDO brand.

Point the cladding stone using the appropriate breathable low-water absorption mortar of type ARREDOSTUCCO, in colour ………………, from the COLMEF S.r.l. PIETRE D’ARREDO brand.

For the pointing of laid stone cladding on a thermal insulating system, always add a lightweight aggregate of type ARREDOLIGHT from the COLMEF S.r.l. PIETRE D’ARREDO brand to the paste in order to increase breathability and reduce the weight on the wall.

Installation MethodARREDOCOLLA: high performance professional smoothing adhesive composed of mineral binders, no vertical slip, for reconstructed stone and brick laying. Yield: 6-7 kg per square metre, according to the kind of support. Packaging: 25 Kg.
Integral FinishARREDOSTUCCO: coloured natural mortar for high transpirability grouting of reconstructed stone and brick covering. Yield: 8-10 kg per square metre, depending on the joints. Packaging: 25 kg.

Method Of InstallationInstall the stones or bricks from corner to centre. Apply the adhesive using a trowel, spreading it onto the surface to be clad and onto the back of the element to be laid; position the element that you wish to bind, apply a significant amount of pressure, making subtle movements in order to ensure full contact with the adhesive. Leave a gap of at least 1.5 cm between the various elements. Once hardened fill the joints with ARREDOSTUCCO (which is available in several shades to be coordinated on an ad hoc basis with the type of product chosen) using a suitable triangular grout bag. When the mortar loses its plasticity and appears to be sufficiently hardened, apply pressure and remove the excess product with an appropriate utensil or trowel; subsequently, finish with a brush made from vegetable fibres and a fine brush. For further details or special uses consult the technical data sheet.
