    By the necessity of reducing thermal bridges and rising damp at the base of standard masonry walls borns the the new aerated autoclaved cellular concrete block (AAC) GASBETON IDRO.

    Beyond the excellent thermal insulation capacity and high compression resistance, this product offers much lower water absorption values, compared to standard blocks. This can be possible thanks to special idrophobic agents spread evenly distributed through the volume of the block.
    Autoclaved aerated cellular concrete (AAC) IDRO blocks are ideal for the realization of the first of blocks at the base of standard masonry and GASBETON® walls, for reducing rising damp and linear thermal bridges. They can be used for partition walls or infill walls. They're useful, for example, at basement, at ground floor and in each situation where there's the risk of water stagnation (like balconies or terraces).

    • SPECIFICATION:
      Execution of thermal cut, reduction of rising damp and water infiltration at the base of load-bearing masonry walls and non-structural walls (made of aerated autoclaved cellular concrete (AAC) or bricks) using  autoclaved aerated cellular concrete blocks (AAC) GASBETON EVOLUTION IDRO or GASBETON SYSMIC IDRO. These blocks are produced by Ekoru s.r.l., with CE maring, in CAT I, compliant with the standard UNI EN 771-4, nominal density respectively of 480 kg/m3 and 580 kg/m3, dry thermal conductivity λ_10,dry 0.110 W/mK and 0.130 W/mK, various depths, lenght 600 mm, height 125 mm and 250 mm, without vertical joints; the product has to be connected horizontally with a specific adhesive mortar INCOLLARASA, with guaranteed performance on a thin layer T type, with compressive strenght M5 or M10 (spread with a suitable CAZZUOLA DENTATA GASBETON - toothet trowel GASBETON). These walls should be plastered with GASBETON MULTICEM or smoothed internally with INCOLLARASA, by positioning of a plastic holder mesh and finish with GASBETON MULTIRASO indoor or outdoor.
