    Dock leveller telescopic lip

    General information
    Dock leveller series: TL
    Permissible dimension (width х height): 1750-2250 х 2000-4500
Conformity to European Union standards: EN 1398
Purpose of dock leveller: For compensation of the distance and the height difference between floor of the premises (ramp) and truck body arising during loading and unloading works. Eminently suitable for side unloading and loading of vehicles as for unloading and loading onto railway trains. Dock levellers with telescopic lip are used in isodocks.
Field of application of dock leveller: Railheads, logistics and distribution centres, shopping complexes, industrial buildings, production facilities, premises

Steel sheet thickness of the hinged part: 8/10 mm
Steel sheet thickness of the lip: 12/14 mm
Lip length: 500 mm (1000 mm - optional)
      Operating temperature range: -40 … +50
Models of dock leveller: It is chosen depending on the stage of construction works and characteristics of a particular facility.
S - frameless model for mounting in preliminary prepared pit after finishing
W - frame model for mounting in preliminary prepared pit after finishing
C - frame model for mounting in preliminary prepared pit before laying of the final floor
B - model with a frame that allows pouring of the concrete at the stage of ramp construction
Protective coating: The metal parts of the leveller are treated by bead blasting and coated with 2-component enamel.
      Coating thickness: 100 microns
      Standard colours: RAL 9017 (black);
      RAL 7016 (anthracite grey);
      RAL 5002 (blue).
Construction of dock leveller: Frame, hinged part, telescopic lip, support beam, reinforcing plates of hinged part, reinforcing ribs of the lip, hydraulic unit, two lifting hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic lip cylinder, control unit
Frame: Made of steel and is designed for mounting the dock leveller to the pit
Hinged part: Made of hot-rolled steel sheets
Supporting beam: Designed for mounting of the main lifting cylinders. Support beam is a roll-formed channel 150×90×60 mm, steel thickness: 5 mm.
Reinforcing plates of the hinged part: Make the hinged part of the dock leveller more durable and enable to twist at least 3 % (≈ 1.7 degrees) in the cross direction. This allows to level the lateral pitch that occurs when the vehicle tilts to the side.
The number of reinforcing plates: 8 PCs.
      Size of plates: 175×60×3 mm
Telescopic lip with reinforcing ribs: The lip is placed in the vehicle body. The hot-rolled sheets of steel 12/14 mm thickness with lenticular corrugation are used for manufacturing the lip. Reinforcing ribs of the lip are made of 138x80x80 mm profile. Steel thickness: 6 mm
Hydraulic unit: Provides hydraulic oil flow to the cylinders, which operate the main part lifting and the lip movement.
The tank capacity of the hydraulic unit is 7 l.
The length of electric cables used for the hydraulic unit is 7 or 10 m (depending on the length of the dock leveller)
Lifting cylinders: Two hydraulic lifting cylinders are included in standart kit. Lifting cylinders drive the hinged part of the dock leveller. The plungers of the cylinders have a corrosion resistant coating.
The external diameter of cylinders is 60 mm.
Hydraulic lip cylinder: Provides the lip movement. The plunger of cylinder has a corrosion resistant coating.
The external diameter of the lip cylinder is 50 mm
Control unit (CUL 11): The standard leveller kit includes the control unit.
      Supply voltage: 3~230/400 V
      Utility frequency: 50 Hz
      Electric motor power: <1,5 kW
Working power in standby mode: <5 W
Nominal source voltage of valve: 24 V direct current
Section of wires connected to the socket, mm2: max. 2.5
      Enclosure protection: IP54 (professional installation)
      Operating temperature range, ° C: −25…+40
Power cord length / section of wire: not less than 1 m / 1.5 mm2
Safety systems: 1. Protection from misalignment - two lifting cylinders
      2. Automatic locking of hydraulics in case of accidental rollback of the transport while unloading
      3. Automatic locking of hydraulics when there is a power failure
      4. Protection of the lip from deformation - manufacturing of the lip from a solid steel sheet
      5. Protection of feet from becoming trapped - protective shutters
      6. Protection of hinged part against breakage - reinforcing plates
      7. Protection against sliding of the loader wheels on the dock leveller surface - lentil corrugation of hinged part and lip
      8. Supporting beam for the service and repair maintenance
