Bill Post notice board

Notice boards are typically wide, flat surfaces where posters and announcements are attached laterally. Inspired to create an alternative design, Broberg & Ridderstråle reinvented the notice board as an architectural element. Crafted in the shape of a column, this notice board is easy to see, and offers a bigger surface area than traditional display boards. Integrated lighting at the top illuminates the signs, notices and advertisements pinned beneath it. The column’s height and distinctive shape draws attention to the notices attached to it, and could provide a meeting point in public areas. Design: Broberg & Ridderstråle

Spesifikasjon

Diameter of top overhang: 1.2 m Diameter at bottom of column: 60 cm Placement: Attaches to the surface. Maintenance: Not normally required. Repaint with alkyd oil enamel as needed. Character: This notice board is crafted in the shape of a column, making it easy to see from a distance. It offers a bigger surface area than traditional display boards. Materials: The frame is made from 8 mm steel plate. The lighting fixture is made in 2 mm steel plate. All steel pieces are zinc-electroplated, gold-chromed and polyester powder-coated in standard colour black RAL 9005 (even those hidden beneath the product’s exterior). The cladding is made from pine painted in alkyd oil enamel in standard colour yellow RAL 1023. The standard colour for the lighting unit and overhang is yellow RAL 1023. The lighting is made from LED components with an energy consumption of appr 60W. The lighting unit is protected by a semi-transparent polycarbonate sheet.
