Inverted roof waterproofing with polyurethane liquid waterproofing membrane ISOFLEX-PU 540

Inverted roof waterproofing with polyurethane liquid waterproofing membrane ISOFLEX-PU 540

ISOMAT's inverted roof system offers both waterproofing and thermal insulation properties to the structure. As waterproofing layer is used the one-component, polyurethane, liquid waterproofing membrane ISOFLEX-PU 540, thermal insulation is achieved with the application of extruded polysterene panels (XPS) and gravel comes as final layer.

Main benefits of inverted ballasted roofs:
    • Maximum resistance against waterproofing membrane damage with permanent protection against solar radiation, thermal shock, and mechanical stresses, etc.
    • Easy placement or removal of the insulation boards and ballast materials with direct access and inspection of the waterproofing layer.
    • No condensation problems in the “cold side” of the thermal insulation boards, thanks to the good ventilation of the system.
    • Low ballast weight, compared to the construction of a sloping cement screed.

    Spesifikasjon
    • Porous surfaces are primed with the polyurethane primer PRIMER-PU 100. The one-component, polyurethane, liquid waterproofing membrane ISOFLEX-PU 540 offers high mechanical and chemical properties and forms a seamless, joint-free, elastic waterproof and vapor-permeable membrane. It is CE marked according to EN 1504-2 and certified as root resistant. On the waterproofing membrane, thermal insulation XPS panels are laid out, over them geotextile is placed and finally gravel is added.
