Panel division We build your folding door with the number of sections required to fit the width of your doorway. A manual door can have between 1 – 20 sections and an electrically operated 2 – 4 panels. Normally, the same number of panels are folded in each direction, but a folding door can also be built so that folding/opening is asymmetrical or only in one direction. Rust And Energy Loss? Not On Our Watch? The Q-Door panel is 56 mm thick. It is wrapped with C5 level rust protected SSAB:s 0,6 mm Greencoat sheet metal, coated with bio based paint. The metal is bent for optimum torsional stiffness and the panel is filled with a high density filler foam that offer supreme insulation. The result: a door panel that can withstand extreme weather, gives you a warm indoor environment and a low energy cost. U-value: best cut approximately 0.22 W/m² °c. U-value of an example door 5×5 meter: 0.90 W/m² ° C.
