The Series TVX negative pressure multi-burner system was designed to use two or more radiant tube heaters in a variety of applications, these systems offer significant operating benefits that are not easily obtainable with traditional infrared tube heaters.

Flexible layouts (Herringbone, Fork, "T", Flag, etc.) can be adapted to fit a wide range of applications heating and space requirements. Available input rates 60 / 80 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175 / 205 / 220 MBH all featuring a two-stage configuration.

  • Low Intensity, Two-Stage, Negative pressure Infrared Tube Heating System - Heavy duty industrial/commercial infrared heating system, featuring the best overall radiant performance in the industry. Firing rates as called for in the Contract documents within the range of 60/45 MBH to 220/165 MBH. 100% efficient reflector design with minimum 65% radiant factor as determined by independent lab testing to EN416 Standard. Baffles required as per manufacturer’s instructions. Product shall be Custom-designed, Negative Pressure, Low-Intensity Infrared Heating System: Model TVX as manufactured by Superior Radiant Products. The burner shall operate at a minimum gas inlet pressure of 5.0 inches W.C. (natural gas) or 11.5 inches W.C. (propane) and draw no more than 1 Amp at 120VAC, 60Hz. Burner head shall be chrome-plated steel and burner controls shall be located outside of the air supply stream to allow service and diagnostic control checks to be conducted with the burner operating. Reflector shall be a 10-sided reflector design reflecting virtually 100% of the infrared energy out and away from the emitter tubes. Reflector shall be “Deep Dish design with emitter tubes fully recessed within reflector. Reflectors shall have a minimum of 10 reflective surfaces. Reflectors with fewer surfaces allow energy to bounce back to the main heat exchanger tubing and shall not be allowed. Reflector shall be mill-finished aluminum, ASTM 1100, .024-inch thickness aluminum sheet metal with two reflector support brackets for every 10 feet (3048 mm) reflector section. Reflectors shall always extend below the lowest position of the tubing and include standard end caps. Reflector end caps: Shall be fitted to the end of each reflector run to reduce convective heat loss and shall be standard equipment. Emitter Tube shall be 4-inch (102 mm) diameter, minimum 16-gauge thickness, hot rolled steel, heat-treated type 1 aluminized steel or type 409 stainless steel materials. Heat Uniformity: Burner shall distribute hot gases along the length of the emitter tubes. Combustion Tube shall be 4 inches (102 mm) diameter, 16-gauge, heat-treated type 1 aluminized steel tubing for all firing rates. Hot rolled steel shall not be allowed. The combustion tube shall incorporate a continuously welded, 11-gauge steel, 4 bolt flange to orient the burner to the tube as designed. Couplings shall be 16-gauge aluminized steel, minimum 12 inches in length, and be of heavy-duty design incorporating two 1-inch wide draw bands. Exhaust pump motor shall be totally enclosed requiring no oiling and shall be equipped with overcurrent protection. It shall be one of A. For systems up to 250,000 BTU/Hr - Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) type, Electrical supply: 120V, 60Hz, 1 PH, 1 A.B. For systems up to 525,000 BTU/Hr - Electrically Commutated Motor (ECM) Electrical supply 120V, 60Hz, 1 PH, 5 A. This product was specified based on best practice design to meet the specific engineering design criteria for this project. No Substitution Permitted. Any submission for substitution must include the following material for consideration or bid will be deemed unqualified and rejected:- Independent lab testing to EN416 standard dated no later than 6 months from date of submission showing minimum 65% radiant factor.- Professional Engineer Stamped Design, calculations, and complete set of stamped drawings with the new system.- Stamped fuel usage data showing a minimum 20% fuel savings over specified Superior Radiant Model - Verification that Manufacturer successfully completed and passed the auditing requirements for ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
