Hollow clay brick - Cerapas® 4

Ceramic product manufactured by Cerámica Pastrana, S.A. It is included within the large format hollow bricks' type also manufactured by this company, and it stands out because of the following advantages: • It is executed as dry wall construction. It is placed using gypsum glues, reducing the humidity. • Its assembly is easy and quick thanks to the large size of the parts and its tongued and grooved union. • Flatness. It gives ease to the finishes. • Ease of cutting and when executing the horizontal grooves. Cutting with shear facilitates the production of clean cuts. This product has CE Marking and Aenor certificates. Moreover, it can be executed according to the Silenis System which offers the following advantages: • Accurate soundproofing and thermal insulation as well as fire safety according to the requirements expressed by the “CTE”. • Economic performance. • Sustainable construction. • Security against usurpation, mechanical resistance to impacts and to suspended loads. These advantages are verified by different types of tests and certificates.

Technical features of the Cerapas manufactured by Cerámica Pastrana, S.A., according to several tests and certificates in accordance with the CTE: • Soundproofing (DBHR): The results obtained in situ are: o Type 1 - Division of VV. ENL 1 + LHDGF 7 + ENL 1; RA = 35 dBA. o Type 2A – Separation of VV. ENL 1 + LHDGF 7 + LM 4 + LHDGF 7 ENL 1; RA = 56 dBA (with grooves) RA = 57 dBA (without grooves). This tests have been carried out by placing expanded and elasticized polystyrene sheets, also called EEPS on bases and peripheral joints when required by means of the Silensis System. • Balance (DB-S-F): This product has passed the following security tests (DITE 003 - EOTA): o impact against hard-body o eccentric vertical load o impact against soft-body Connectors are used with the most unfavourable formats, such as the LHSGF 4, in order to improve their balance. • Fire safety (DB-SI): Fire safety has been tested according to the regulation UNE En 1364-1:2000 (9). The results have surpassed the maximum EI 120 required by the regulation mentioned above.
