Insulated Sectional Steel Doors Thermospan® Model 200

Insulated Sectional Steel Doors Thermospan® Model 200

Wayne Dalton Thermospan® Model 200 provides premium thermal efficiency and low maintenance costs, resulting in a door that costs less to own. Continuous foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation and a non-conductive thermal break between the inner and outer skins combine to provide a U-value* of .057 and an R-value* of 17.50.

The Wayne Dalton Thermospan® Series doors are the only sectional doors in the industry with patented, roll-formed integral struts on each section, making them the most rigid doors available. The Thermospan® Series also has a patented manufacturing process with a polyurethane core that is continuously foamed-in-place between the outer and inner skins. An innovative thermal break keeps the interior skin at room temperature, preventing condensation and frost and helping to resist corrosion.

*Wayne Dalton uses a calculated door section R-value and U-value for insulated doors.

    Door Construction

    • Joint seal prevents air infiltration and saves energy
    • Thermal break separates inner and outer skins so virtually no heat or cold is conducted through the section.
    • Pre-painted inner and outer skins for added corrosion resistance. Both skins are also hot-dipped galvanized steel for further protection against corrosion.
    • Solid polyurethane core provides maximum thermal efficiency and aids in quiet operation
    • Integral struts – Two 1-3/4” roll-formed struts per section increase rigidity and strength.
    • Two-inch nominal thickness
    • Embossed pinstriping (grooves) on the embossed stucco outer skin adds strength and enhances appearance.

    IECC® Compliant

The Thermospan® Model 200 meets IECC® requirements for maximum U-factor of operable fenestrations (2015 Section C402.4) with a 3rd party certified tested value of less than 0.37. Thermospan® Model 200 also meets the ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC® requirement for maximum air leakage for fenestration assemblies (2015 Section C402.5.2 Garage doors) with a 3rd party certified tested value of less than 0.40.
