The Low Pressure Shut-Off Venturi Valve allows facility managers to completely shut off airflow to fume hoods and critical rooms not being used, allowing for greater energy efficiency.
Constructed primarily with heavy gauge aluminum, this valve also features a blend of stainless steel and Teflon® components to extend valve life.
The Low Pressure Shut-Off Venturi Valve is pressure independent, maintains a constant CFM at a specific actuator position over a range of 0.3" to 3" wc* with accuracy of +/- 5%, and does not require long straight runs for proper operation. Single valve flow rates range from 0 - 700 CFM depending on the valve size.
The valve arrives on-site calibrated and ready for installation. For installations that will encounter harsh chemicals in the air stream Triatek offers Kynar® and Heresite® coatings to prevent corrosion.
*Vertical "up" Low Pressure Venturi Valves range 0.4" to 3" wc.
