Door Detective® Plus

Door Detective® Plus

The Door Detective is a doorway-mounted detection and direction control system ideal for any access-controlled area where an intruder could cause damage or theft. The technology detects tailgating, directional violations, and intruders by preventing someone from taking advantage of a closing door. The Door Detective access control solution monitors, detects, and alerts if a breach has occurred. Additionally, the Door Detective is compatible with leading access control systems to provide notifications if a violation occurs.

Powered by a dedicated high-speed onboard micro-controller with proven optical systems, it's the most accurate and cost-effective solution to monitor movement through an access-controlled door. The Door Detective Plus will monitor the passage of people and objects through your doorway once the door is unlocked or opened. Something that the access control system cannot achieve on its own.

Some of the most common places where the Door Detective is utilized are laboratories where security is paramount, server rooms, corporate offices, campus facilities, retail spaces, distribution centers, and even gyms (among other industries).
