The folding arm² turning actuator PA-KL²-DF-S is an extremely powerful actuator for the electromotive opening and closing of bottom-hung, top-hung and side-hung sashes. It is suitable for use on inward and outward closing elements. It is mounted on the secondary closing edges. This actuator is a synchronous version.
The actuator PA-KL²-DF-S can be used very flexible regarding the installation situation and direction of rotation. Depending on the type of installation, opening widths of up to 140° are possible, thus ensuring rapid smoke extraction and ventilation in case of fire. The PA-KL²-DF-S turning actuator actuator is tested and certified according to EN 12101-2 for use in a natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system and can also be used for controlled natural ventilation.
The PA-KL²-DF rotary wing actuator has a special kinematics and the high performance gear (> 20.000 load changes) in combination with the stainless steel lever arm is very resistant. With a push and pulling force of 500 N and the small installation dimension, this automatic opener is ideal for projects with high aesthetic demands - especially for large and heavy wings.
More power through synchronous version
The PA-KL²-DF-S can also be used as a synchronous actuator on bottom-hung and top-hung sashes that offer little space for opening. As a synchronous version, the folding arm² actuator applies a force of up to 1,000 N and can therefore be easily used on heavy elements. Its high resistance guarantees a safe functioning of the folding arm actuator even in strong winds.
The connection is made via the SICO-PLUG connector plug. This contains the SICO BUS programming interface, which allows the direct on-site parameterization of parameters such as opening stroke and force and the readout of further status messages. The PA-KL²-DF-S turning actuator can be networked with each other in synchronous groups as well as for remote control with SHEV control centers and building management systems.
In both end positions OPEN/CLOSED the actuator also offers a potential-free contact. Work sequence control and start-up delay are freely adjustable. Due to the freely adjustable start-up delay, the folding arm² turning actuator is ideal for the automated opening of secondary sashes. The PA-KL²-DF-S turning actuator can also be used in combination with an additional locking device.
