Folding arm² actuators- Premium RWA window opener
The folding arm is the premium actuator technology for electromotive window opening on facades and roofs. It is not only designed and tested for use in smoke and heat ventilation, but also for controlled natural ventilation. Actuators of the "folding arm" type have a special kinematics and their high-performance gear (> 20,000 LW) in combination with the stainless steel lever arms is very resistant to alternating loads (wind, snow). Especially the symmetrical design and, when closed, the small installation dimensions make this automatic window opener ideal for projects with high aesthetic demands - especially for large and heavy windows. All folding arm actuators are tested and certified according to DIN EN 12101-2 together with various profile series for use as natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation devices. The connection is made via the SICO-PLUG connection plug. This contains the SICO BUS programming interface by which parameters such as opening stroke and force can be parameterised and further status messages can be read out. Products of the PA-series are available in different versions as solo and synchronous actuators. They can be networked with each other in synchronous groups as well as for remote control with SHEV control panels and the building management system. All Klapparm² actuators are characterised by a very high efficiency for the low power consumption and thus reduce permanently running operating costs.
Performance features folding arm² actuator PA-KL²-50/710-S:
The PA-KL²-50/710-S folding arm² actuator is a synchronous actuator with integrated load cut-off and can be used for the automation of inward and outward opening windows on facades and roofs. Installation is possible on main and secondary closing edges. The PA-KL²-50/710-S folding arm² actuator PA-KL²-50/710-S has an opening stroke of 710 mm and, depending on the installation position, thus achieves a large cross-section for effective natural ventilation/smoke extraction. The folding arm² actuator PA-KL²-50/710-S has a push and pull force of 500 N. Actuator parameters such as force and opening stroke can be adapted to local conditions on site using the SICO LINK software interface. The PA-KL²-50/710-S folding arm² actuator PA-KL²-50/710-S is equipped with a restart lock, a soft start and a soft close to relieve the seals. The PA-KL²-50/710-S folding arm² actuator can also be used together with locking actuators in sequential control systems; its potential-free feedback contact is freely programmable.
