M-SHEV Modular Control Panel

M-SHEV Modular Control Panel

3.9 out of 5 stars3.9(7 reviews)

The M-SHEV (Modular Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilation) modular control panel is an electrical control device in a sheet steel housing with power supply, emergency power supply and all control and regulation electronics for operating 24 V DC actuators for building openings, e.g. windows and smoke exhaust flaps. The M-SHEV modular control panel controls actuators both in case of fire and for daily ventilation. The control modules of the electrical control system M-SHEV use BUS technology to communicate with each other. In the event of a power failure, the emergency power supply ensures the function of the SHEV system for at least 72 hours. The M-SHEV modular control panel provides all necessary connections for release devices (push buttons, smoke detector, fire alarm system). In addition, various components can be connected for daily ventilation applications, e.g. wind/rain detectors and vent buttons. The ventilation function is at the same time a daily function check of the SHEV system. The M-SHEV modular control panel is CE certified according to EN 12101-10.

Easy installation due to modular design

The basic M-SHEV version consists of four (optionally five) components: Power supply (switching power supply, battery and charging card), central interface ZI-100, sensor interface SI-100, motor relay MR-120 and the message interface MI-100 (optional) The switching power supply unit converts the 230 Volt of the mains supply into a clean 24 Volt supply. The central interface (ZI-100) acts as the control center, controlling the SHEV groups and ventilation. The peripheral devices, such as fire alarm system, manual control devices and smoke detectors, are connected to the sensor interface to trigger the SHEVS. You need one sensor interface per SHEV group. The motor relay is the output module that supplies the connected actuators. Any number of motor relays can be assigned per sensor interface. The information is queried via the MI alarm interface.

Intuitive operation via software interface

Specially developed for the M-SHEV modular control panel, the SIMON LINK user interface allows quick parameter settings without any prior knowledge. The software can be easily installed via Plug & Play. With the M-SHEV, all setting options are transferred directly to the software. This means little effort for our partners. The optional remote maintenance module makes remote maintenance easy. Via internet access or GPRS module the status of the systems can be queried. This includes the status of the actuators, alarm triggers, fault messages, power failures, etc. Furthermore, it is possible to set the control system remotely - worldwide. The SIMON LINK Premium version even allows access to the parameter level.

Advantages at a glance:

  • quick and easy programming via software interface
  • simple and fast retrofitting of modules
  • flat design
  • remote maintainable via the optional remote maintenance module
  • energy-saving through effective standby management
  • compact and clearly arranged
  • intuitive to use
  • guaranteed safe
