Outdoor plug-in lighting system

IP System® is the first  dual power linear light system for outdoor environment. It’s composed of a light rod that besides being a stand-alone lighting  fixture for diffuse lighting, it can also host and power at any point,  one or more additional lights IP65. Traditional light systems, characterized by an electrified track and a  series of products that can be positioned and powered from the track  itself, are not usable in all those humid environments that require an  adequate degree of protection. IP System®, with its innovative plug-in  installation system IP65, provides a high degree of protection on all  elements of the system and provides a flexible illumination of any space that requires effects of linear diffuse light combined with accent  lighting effects. Its elegance and aesthetic simplicity makes it also  suitable for any indoor environment.

    The lighting rod Highlighter without plug-in products installed guarantees an IP65 protection rating.

    The lighting rod Highlighter with plug-in fixtures installed and never removed guarantees an IP65 protection rating.

    The lighting rod Highlighter, after removal and/or repositioning of plug-in fixtures, guarantees an IP54 protection rating.

    MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS

    Fixing base in extruded anodized EN AW-6060 aluminium housing (copper free) with high corrosion resistance. AISI 301 Stainless-steel end caps for the extruded parts. Painting Process : 3 Step Process

    1) Surface treatment with BONDERITE. A heavy metal free chemical surface treatment containing ceramic nano particles giving a cohesive, inorganic and highly dense protective coating. 2) PRE POLYMERIZATION a process of introducing an epoxy primer with excellent characteristics to the paint which also offers very high resistance to oxidation due to its Zinc content. 3) POLYMERIZATION a process with the application of polyester powder with high resistance against UV rays and harsh weather conditions.     INSTALLATION AND MANTEINANCE

    The mechanical and electrical connection of all plug-in products to the rod is via a double installation system:

    - the two metal clips hook the anodised aluminium extrusion externally and permanently ensure the product plug-in to the light rod;

    - the 4 pins, necessary for the 24Vdc electrical connection, pierce the silicone strip housed in the extrusion and intercept a dedicated line that has an independent power line from the rod itself. The painted aluminium veils complete the system by hiding the fastening clips external to the extrusion. The end caps create an aesthetic and functional closure as they become an additional safety element for the joining of the components.

    The HIGHLIGHTER Rod can be shortened every 5cm on request with a surcharge (this process must be carried out exclusively by Simes).

    WIRING

    The overall consumption of the plug-in fixtures on each HIGHLIGHTER Rod (regardless of its length 1, 2, 3 or 4m) must not exceed 60W. Luminaire hard wired with 5m single silicone 4-poles cable for two independent electrical circuits: one for the supply of the luminous profile and the other specifically dedicated to the supply of the plug-in fixtures.     This luminaire contains built-in LED modules. In case of damage or malfunction please contact the manufacturer to receive additional instructions on how to replace and relative spare parts to order. The LED modules cannot be handled in the luminaire by the end user.This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class: F.

    LED modules are engineered accordingly to the existing regulations of Lumen Maintenance (LM80) and Technical Memorandum (TM21), where uniformity and quality of the light is 70,000 hours referred to L80 B10 Ta 25 ° C (50,000 hours referable to L80 B10 Ta 40°C). Lifespan of the luminaire min. 50,000 hours at 40°C. Performance Ambient temperature Tq 25°C. Operating ambient temperature range is from -20°C to +50°C. Storage temperature range from -20°C to +60°C.
