    Workshop table se:lab high desk

    Workshop table for greater agility se:lab high desk combines all the advantages of the modern high desk concept: ideal for agile teamwork or as a communicative meeting place. With a height of 900 mm, it encourages spontaneous posture changes, which can have a positive effect on health and creativity. Equipped with castors, se:lab high desk can be easily moved around and is therefore perfectly suited for applications in central office zones and work cafés.

    • Product family

      The high desk must support formal and informal communication in the central zone. At a height of 1050 and 900 mm, the high desks must invite communication when standing. Meetings must be quicker and brainstorming must stimulated. The changing posture from sitting at a workstation and standing at the high desk during a meeting must contribute to well-being and performance.

      The product family must include the following desks:

      • high desk basic desk, on castors
      • high desk basic desk, without castors

      Frame system

      The frame system must be based on a functional frame construction consisting of two leg frames that are bolted together with one or two longitudinal crossbeams. The high-strength connection of the leg frames with the frame must be achieved by means of a stable screw system with 2 screws in order to ensure optimal force transmission into the frame system.

      Leg frame

      The leg frame must consist of round tubes. These must create a filigree and light appearance.

      For optimum ergonomics, an all-round foot rail made of stainless steel must be supplied as standard. It must be attached to the leg frames using angled connectors.

      Glides and lockable castors must be provided for the high desks. By means of the castors, the application must be supported in agile workplace concepts. The castors must be 65 mm in diameter. If castors are used, the desk height must not change.

      The following heights must be available:

      • Standing height 1050 mm
      • Intermediate height 900 mm

      (cross section round tube Ø 40 mm)

      Substrate

      The desktops must be available as 19 mm thick three-layer chipboard with melamine resin finish or veneer.

      The use of three-layer chipboard must be appropriate to the substrate compliant with EN 312-2003.

      With regard to formaldehyde emissions, the coated particle boards must comply with standard E05 according to EN 717-1.

      Product features

      The desktops must be connected to the frame by means of desktop block connectors as standard. Mounting by means of desktop clip connectors must be available as an option.

      Add-on options

      CPU holder

      The CPU holder must be mounted under the desktop. The usable size of the supporting plate must be 450 x 205 mm. The maximum load capacity is not to exceed 10 kg.

      Laptop holders

      A laptop holder must be available for the desk series. The holder must be mounted under the desktop. The usable size of the supporting plate with a maximum load of 10 kg must be 350 x 330 mm.

      Drawer attached underneath the desk

      A drawer attached under the desk must be provided. It must consist of a metal housing, which is screwed under the desktop, and a pull-out felt tray. The internal dimensions must be 349 x 225 mm and a height must be 70 mm, to offer sufficient storage space for everyday items, such as pens, notebooks and smartphones. It must be possible to powder-coat the metal housing in five modern colours. The felt shell must be in the colours anthracite and light grey. It must be possible to select the drawer attached underneath with a lock as an option. The maximum load capacity is not to exceed 10 kg.

        Packaging

        Items must be supplied in sections for on-site final assembly in order to keep the transport volume as small as possible.

        The desk series must be designed in accordance with the relevant excerpted standards depending on the model:

        • GS test certificate (in preparation)
        • DIN Special Report 147
        • DIN EN-527-1/2/3 office desks (except for soft touch)
        • BGI 650
        • DIN EN 16555
        • PAH confirmation for relevant components
        • PEFC certification for wood components
        • AGR certificate
        • Greenguard

        The product manufacturing processes are to be certified to the following standards:
