Mobile, convertible table
Product features
The table must be available in:
- W 1400 x D 700 x H 715 – 1345 mm
- W 1600 x D 800 x H 715 – 1345 mm
- W 1800 x D 900 x H 715 – 1345 mm
Construction
It must be a motorised height-adjustable table on castors, operated with a rechargeable battery. The battery must be able to move the table approx. 50 times and must then be recharged. The table must be height-adjustable between 715 mm to 1345 mm. The table top must be equipped with a writable 19-mm whiteboard surface which must be able to be released with both hands and tilted to a vertical position. In one product, the table must be a mobile meeting table and a writable wall. The table must be equipped with two lockable castors with a diameter of 65 mm.
Frame system
The frame must be based on a beam solution consisting of a central or double support beam and desktop supports. The supporting frame must always to be adapted perfectly to the shape of the table top. The table top supports must ensure a high level of stability.
Leg frame
The tables must have a control column with one gear per leg frame. The motors must be mounted in a steel housing at the upper end of the control columns to provide optimum transmission of force. The smooth sliding guide must ensure that the double telescope runs safely and guarantees a high level of stability.
Model features
Desks with motorised height adjustment enable the user to change their position at the desk at the push of a button, which is ideal for people with health problems or to prevent the same.
Desks with motorised height adjustment must be notable for the following characteristics:
• very good control
• very long-lasting
• sliding guide for high load-bearing capacity
• motors running simultaneously due to synchronous control
• Soft-Start-Stop for smooth height adjustment
• collision protection
• sensor disconnection
• being very quiet
• adjustment range with 630 mm stroke as per DIN EN 527-1
The speed of adjustment must be approx. 35 mm/sec in neutral. The effective load capacity should be up to 50 kg depending on the desk size. In order to prevent injuries from crushing or abrasion, a minimum gap of 25 mm should be left between adjoining surfaces.
The height adjustment must be operated by means of a user-friendly up-down control attached at the edge of the desktop on the right-hand (or left-hand side). The hand switch must have intuitive operability.
Das table must come with a gyro sensor as standard. The gyro sensor must react to the tilting of the desktop and assess this as a collision. Traversing movement must be stopped immediately if the desktop is tilted and enabled again by the minimal countermovement of a possible obstacle.
Packaging:
The packaging must be done on disposable pallets. Items must be supplied in sections for on-site final assembly in order to keep the transport volume as small as possible.
Quality and ecology:
The table must be designed to meet the following requirements:
- GS label of TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH(in preparation)
- EK5/AK3 13-01:2018
- DIN EN 14434:2010-04
