Negative Pressure Vacuum Pumps

Negative Pressure Vacuum Pumps

Negative pressure vacuum pumps draw heat through the heating system to exhaust the products of combustion. Available in 1/3HP, 3/4HP or 2HP, vacuum pumps are able to adapt to multiple different layout options at various input levels. Vantagen®NP multi-burner and CORAYVAC® infrared heating systems utilize vacuum pumps. Each pump is customized to provide optimum efficiency for Roberts Gordon® infrared heaters.

Vacuum pumps are manufactured with high quality materials and components including high temperature sealed motor bearings and silicone acoustical boot. Dynamically balanced impellers reduce motor failures and minimize vibration delivering a long lasting, trouble free product. Most vacuum pumps for infrared heaters provide automatic thermal overload protection. Additionally, each model distributes 3450 rotations per minute. Material frame is comprised of 12 gauge stamped steel with black paint finish. For safety, a field installed pressure switch is included.

All vacuum pumps must have exhaust vented to the outside of the building. Horizontal discharge venting is preferred, but vertical venting is available as an alternative. Based on the type of vent material used and the length of the pipe, a condensate trap should be installed on the inlet side of the pump assembly. Up to 12 infrared heaters can be common vented with one vacuum pump.

Gas-fired low-intensity infrared tube heaters are an extremely efficient and high comfort heating solution. Low-intensity tube heaters provide more design flexibility than any other type of infrared heater with the ability to direct heat only where needed in spot heating applications. Or designed to heat and maintain high comfort levels for an entire space, including buildings with high ceilings.

Gas-fired low intensity infrared tube heaters are ideal for applications such as: loading docks (dock doors), auto/vehicle repair shops, warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing, airplane hangars, high heat-loss areas, greenhouses (e.g. flowers, cannabis, etc...), firehouses, outdoor patios (hospitality), chicken houses, hog houses, horse barns, military, and more!
