With a fully glazed balcony door you get more natural light and a more open feeling in the room. It is important that the balcony door has a secure construction because it is the most targeted at a burglary. Tanum balcony door has hook bolt espagnolette, hinges with security pins and security striker plates as a standard. If you want to up the security further, you can get our door according to EN 1627.The hinges are powder-coated white on white windows and grey if you choose another exterior color. For an easier installation the hinges are adjustable height wise and depth wise. The threshold is made of Sapeli, an FSC-labeled hardwood. As an option you can get the threshold accessibility friendly. When the handle is in closed position the door leaf stays open by friction. The door stay will move in case of overload to spare the door leaf and hinges. If you want to release the brake, there is a detachable frame mount.

We help you align and place the glazing bars according to your wishes. If you choose already assembled fixing sleeves it simplifies the installation and gives you the ability to easily adjust the window to the correct position.
