Basement waterproofing using crystalline waterproofing slurry AQUAMAT-PENETRATE

Basement waterproofing using crystalline waterproofing slurry AQUAMAT-PENETRATE

AQUAMAT-PENETRATE is a one-component, cement-based, brushable waterproofing slurry. It consists of special active chemicals which react with water and calcium hydroxide contained in the concrete to form insoluble bonds (crystals). These crystals fill the capillary pores and shrinkage cracks of the concrete, preventing any further water ingress.

Advantages:

  • Remains permanently active.
  • Offers total waterproofing against positive and negative hydrostatic pressure.
  • Capable of waterproofing hairline cracks up to 0.4 mm wide, even if they appear afterwards.
  • Does not affect the "breathability" of the concrete.
  • Contains no VOCs.
  • Increases chemical and frost resistance of the structure.

AQUAMAT-PENETRATE is suitable for waterproofing of basements, foundations, manholes, water tanks, sewage tanks .

Specification
  • AQUAMAT-PENETRATE is a crystalline waterproofing cement-based slurry, withstanding both positive and negative hydrostatic pressure. It is suitable for potable water tanks, as well as food contact surfaces, according to W-347 and it is CE marked according to EN 1504-2. In cases of exterior basement waterproofing, it is proposed to place the drainage membrane DELTA-NP-DRAIN over the waterproofing layer. DELTA-NP-DRAIN is made of HDPE, 0.6 mm thick, with dimples 8.0 mm high and polypropylene geotextile bonded to one side. This membrane acts as a universal high drainage layer and at the same time protects the waterproofing material.
