EW30/EW60 Fire-resistant - double-walled rolling shutter with burglar-resistant function.

OPERATION

Fire-resistant rolling shutters with an anti-burglary function. Rolling shutters are often used in buildings with a high-risk profile, such as museums, banks and airports.

FIRE-RESISTANT ROLLING DOOR

The primary aim of a fire-resistant rolling door is to protect people and property by preventing the spread of fire. The doors are connected with the fire alarm centre so that when an alarm has sounded, the doors close and form a physical barrier. The rolling doors have a doubled-walled galvanized steel profile and are equipped with rock wool insulation.

SMART CONTROL

  • The control box includes the ability to connect to the fire alarm system and has LED indicators for:
  • Central operation.
  • Smoke and temperature alarms.
  • Photocell control.
  • Control and feedback signals of the roller shutter can be adapted to specification.

OPTIONS

  • Emergency power battery: In combination with the special drive motor so that the rolling shutter only closes in the event of a fire alarm or upon power failure as well as fire alarm. Furthermore, the safeties continue to work in the event of power failure.
  • Emergency operation: With the removable crank, chain hoist or by using a flywheel (with the special drive motor).
  • Powder coating: In any desired RAL colour.
  • Steel cover: One, two three or four-sides, with or without motor guard.
  • Forced entry resistance: Class 4, in accordance with standard NEN 5096 / EN 1627 (KOMO certificate).

FORCED ENTRY RESISTANT VERSION

A version of this roller shutter is also available that has been developed for forced entry-resistant applications. This double-walled roller shutter has slats of 1.5 mm steel. This version is suitable for formats up to 12,000 mm wide and has forced entry resistance class RC4 / WK4. 60 minutes of fire resistance.

    • Unroll safety device: Fitted as standard according to EN 12604 and EN 12605.
    • Side guide: Specially constructed reinforced profile with foaming material.
