The system as a whole has been tested for conformity with EN 16361 (corresponding to SIA 343).
Elegant integration, into the sliding door drive unit, of all actuating components, sensor elements and leaf profiles.
Digital control unit with touch-screen display. An electronic control unit with an automatic reversing and stopping mechanism provides gap-hazard detection. Suitable for connection via a BUS configuration or conventional wiring system.
Noise-insulated/vibration-damped drive system.
Low-noise toothed belt. Running carriage with counter-pressure rollers, height/depth-adjustable.

( ) With glazed overhead panel (one- to three-section)
Gilgen PSXP leaf profile system
All-round frame made of reinforced aluminium profiles. The upper leaf profiles are integrated in the drive unit.
Vertical interlocking between the sliding door leaves and side panels increases safety in the closed position, ensures stability and provides protection from draughts.
Dry glazing with rubber seals for the fast and simple replacement, when required, of glass or aluminium profiles. Glass thickness to be selected between 6mm - 24mm.

Bottom guide rail
( ) Lateral fixed-point guides
( ) With full-length, flush-type rail embedded in floor, for reliable operation and increased resistance to wind pressure and forced opening. The door leaves are guided over the entire width and the guide rail is replaceable.
Optional:
( ) Heated bottom guide rail to prevent the build-up of ice
( ) Drained bottom guide rail for systems exposed to the weather
Drive/control system options
Emergency exit and rescue access
( ) Redundant configuration for use in emergency exits and rescue accesses. This TÜV-tested feature conforms to the latest standards (EN 16005 and DIN 18650), including those applicable to gap hazard detection and force limitation. Safety-critical control elements and components conform to Performance Level “d” in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1.
( ) Emergency operating mode
If the power supply fails, batteries ensure operation for a further 30 to 60 minutes. The system continuously monitors the battery's charge level to ensure that it will work in an emergency. The final door movement (opening or closing) in the event of low charge state can be programmed.
Additional control elements
( ) Gilgen radio receiver and GFU hand-held transmitter
( ) INTERFACE
Control extension with additional inputs and outputs for advanced functions.
( ) Relay PCB for mounting onto the interface with 4 potential-free outputs
Locking mechanism
( ) Automatic locking mechanism integrated in the drive case
( ) Standard
( ) FAIL SAFE (reliable unlocking in the event of a mains failure)
( ) FAIL SECURE (reliable locking in the event of a mains failure)
( ) Emergency exit and rescue access (function: locked exit, compulsory with redundant control)
( ) Longlife (doubled lifetime for standard locking)
( ) Multi-point locking mechanism fitted to leaf for added security
( ) Automatic
( ) Manual
Optional:
( ) Monitoring of the door leaf position and lock status TUWE (VdS), e.g. for connection to an alarm system.
( ) Manual internal release mechanism designed for installation in the frame profile, in a surface-type
flush-type box.
( ) Manual internal release mechanism for installation in/on the side of the drive case.
The customisable draw-bar length allows you to set an ideal operating height for barrier-free
access.
( ) Release lever on door leaf (only in conjunction with multi-point locking)
( ) Lockable manual release from the outside for situations where there is no other access to the room.
Sensor system and user protection
( ) COMBISCAN-PI, integrated opening/safety sensor fitted inside the drive case. Motion detector and scanning safety barrier for the reliable monitoring of opening and closing movements. Meets the requirements for opening elements installed in the direction of escape (redundant emergency-exit configuration).
( ) COMBISCAN-PI, integrated opening/safety sensor fitted externally in the cover or supporting profile. Motion detector and scanning safety barrier for the reliable monitoring of opening and closing movements.
( ) COMBISCAN-SM, for surface-type installation on the lintel or façade. Opening and safety sensor. Motion detector and scanning safety barrier for the reliable monitoring of opening and closing movements. Meets the requirements for opening elements installed in the direction of escape (redundant emergency-exit configuration).
( ) SAFESCAN-PI, integrated safety sensor fitted inside the drive case. Scanning safety barrier for reliable monitoring of the secondary closing edge(s) during opening.
