Automatic Sliding Door (Energy-Efficiency) - Single - With side panels - In wall - SL/PST

Gilgen automatic sliding door

Reduced opening and closing times generally reduce the amount of air exchange, thus cutting down on energy loss.

Specification
  • Gilgen sliding door - thermally insulated, burglar-resistant RC 2 or RC 3 Gilgen automatic sliding door system - thermally insulated, burglar-resistant RC 2 or RC 3 Gilgen automatic sliding door system, TÜV-tested for conformity with EN 16005 and DIN 18650. Gilgen SL sliding door drive unit in combination with the slimline, thermally insulated Gilgen PST RC profile system. Ud values of between 1.1 and 1.8 W/m2K can be achieved. Fulfils European break-in prevention standards EN 1627 - EN 1630. The system as a whole has been tested for conformity with EN 16361 (corresponding to SIA 343). Elegant integration into the sliding door drive unit of all actuating and sensor components. Digital control unit with touch-screen display. An electronic control unit with an automatic reversing and stopping mechanism provides gap-hazard detection. Suitable for connection via a BUS configuration or conventional wiring system. Noise-insulated/vibration-damped drive system. Low-noise toothed belt. Running carriage with counter-pressure rollers, height/depth-adjustable. A series of metal plates and bolted-in elements in the drive case is designed to prevent attempts to break in by levering the door open. Drive case height 140 mm Drive case covering Standard: Hinge-type aluminium drive unit covering designed for easy service and maintenance access, with mechanical hold-open system and drop prevention. Optional: ( ) Installation in false ceiling: Robust aluminium covering that can be removed from below. The drive case is fully integrated into the false ceiling. ( ) Lockable drive case covering with locking cylinder. Door leaves and fixed side panels Clear height (mm): ………. Clear width (mm): ………. System configuration: ( ) RC 2 ( ) RC 3 ( ) Single leaf, left-handed ( ) Single leaf, right-handed ( ) Bi-parting Side door panels: () With fixed side panel(s) () Without side door panel Protective leaves: ( ) Slimline, all-glass protection leaves in hinged configuration (designed for personal protection when opening the sliding door leaves) ( ) Safety glass to close the gap between protection leaf and façade Glazed overhead panel: ( ) Without glazed overhead panel ( ) With glazed overhead panel (one- to three-section) Gilgen PST leaf profile system The slimline, all-round aluminium frame profile system and structural connections are thermally insulated. The robust, on-board locking latch with slide element engages with the flush-fitting bottom guide rail. The bottom locking latch also reinforces the corner of the door leaf frame. Vertical interlocking between the sliding door leaves and side panels increases safety in the closed position, ensures stability and provides protection from draughts. Wet glazing with state-of-the-art adhesive technology. IV-VSG insulating laminated safety glass. A combination of thermal insulation and break-in protection provides an ideal external door (Ud values of between 1.1 and 1.8 W/m2K). Bottom guide rail RC With full-length rail embedded in floor, for reliable operation and increased resistance to wind pressure and forced opening. The door leaves are guided over the entire width and the guide rail is replaceable. Optional: ( ) Heated bottom guide rail to prevent the build-up of ice ( ) Drained bottom guide rail for systems exposed to the weather Drive/control system options Emergency exit and rescue access ( ) Redundant configuration for use in emergency exits and rescue accesses. This TÜV-tested feature conforms to the latest standards (EN 16005 and DIN 18650), including those applicable to gap hazard detection and force limitation. Safety-critical control elements and components conform to Performance Level “d” in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1. [ ] Emergency operating mode If the power supply fails, batteries ensure operation for a further 30 to 60 minutes. The system continuously monitors the battery's charge level to ensure that it will work in an emergency. The final door movement (opening or closing) in the event of low charge state can be programmed. Additional control elements ( ) Gilgen radio receiver and GFU hand-held transmitter ( ) INTERFACE Control extension with additional inputs and outputs for advanced functions. ( ) Relay PCB for mounting onto the interface with 4 potential-free outputs RC locking mechanism Multi-point locking mechanism installed in door leaf. Four robust, securely encased locking bolts made of steel offer high protection against break-ins. Available with manual unlocking mechanism using cylinder ( ) Automatic ( ) Manual Optional: ( ) Monitoring of the door leaf position and lock status TUWE (VdS), e.g. for connection to an alarm system. Sensor system and user protection ( ) COMBISCAN-PI, integrated opening/safety sensor fitted inside the drive case.
