Interior Wall Panels - CleanCote Biowall

PANEL & SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

PRODUCT NAME:
CleanCote® BioWall®
Interior Wall & Ceiling Panels

OVERVIEW:
CleanCote® BioWall® is a composite panel for interior use with a thermoset phenolic resin core. This core is surrounded by two skins of smooth or suede finish melamine. The panel is attached to the substrate (or wood/metal studs) using either mechanical fasteners and construction adhesive. Panel joints are trimmed using two piece (plastic receiver and aluminum cover) extruded moldings.

BASIC USES & APPLICATIONS:
CleanCote® BioWall® panels are designed to provide an easily maintained surface for various types of interior applications. A combination of an inorganic core and a smooth melamine skin makes them ideal for use in pseudocleanrooms, laboratories, biotechnical, pharmaceutical and medical facilities as well as any other application where cleanliness is a key concern.

GENERAL LIMITATIONS:
CleanCote® BioWall® panels are intended for interior use as wall or ceiling panels only. Panels may not be installed as a structural element of a wall assembly.

SYSTEM FINISHES:
CleanCote® BioWall® panels are offered with a gloss or suede melamine skin. The standard color for these panels is white. Moldings are painted using a polyester coating and are also available in the standard white.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

CONCEALED FASTENERS:
CleanCote® BioWall® offers a nonprogressive attachment system utilizing two piece (plastic receiver and an aluminum cover) moldings. First, the plastic receiver is fastened to the substrate (or studs) and then covered with the perimeter of the panel. The panels are then mechanically fastened to the substrate around the perimeter and attached in the field of panel using construction adhesive. After approved sealant is applied, the joint is completed using aluminum snap-on covers.
