Temporary (Pop-up) Hospital with ceiling lift

A ceiling lift with Semi-Permanent rack is the preferred choice for 'Temporary transfering' of Doris and Emma, and may be the best solution in facilities where space is limited. A ceiling lift reduces the need for manoeuvreing space on the floor. However, space is required for the carer to walk beside the resident during transfers. Certain situations may require that two carers work side by side.

Consideration must be given to electrical sources, to enable the ceiling lift to charge. Sufficient space is required for a wheelchair, and for the carer to maintain a comfortable working posture. Additional space is also required so the carer can walk next to the resident during transfers. In certain situations, it may be necessary for two carers to assist one resident.
With a room covering traverse system, any point in the room can be reached. This feature provides greater flexibility than a linear/single track when it comes to transfers and furnishings within the room. This showcase uses both 2 Post Semi-Permanent rack & 4 Post Semi-Permanent rack systems with both Maxi Sky® 2 ic , and Maxi  Sky® 1000.
