MOVABLE WALLS - HIDDEN PARKING AND CLEAN FLOORS
Increase the flexibility in your work place with movable walls solutions from Winab. The movable walls is an excellent option in spacious premises with high ceilings, where the sound environment requirements are high. The wall blocks move smoothly in different directions and shape spaces depending on the users demands. When the wall is not in use, it is quickly and easily parked in a suitable place in or outside the room.
What really is a movable walls?
A movable walls consists of ceiling-suspended, independent wall blocks that move along support rails in the ceiling. The rails can have different cutting lines in the same room, which enables great flexibility in terms of room division. In closed mode, the blocks create a flat, attractive wall surface.
The ceiling-suspended construction eliminates the need for floor rails and provides - in situations when the doors are parked - completely unaffected floor spaces. The only part that is visible is the rail system in the ceiling.
Laterally, the blocks are sealed to each other using aluminium edge profiles. Extendible sealing beams seal and fix the wall blocks to the floor and ceiling so that the movable walls always forms a fixed and flat wall surface in the closed position. Sealing against the end frame is done with an end block with a telescopic seal.
The movable walls can be delivered with one or more wicket doors in any placement. The doors’ dimensions meet current accessibility requirements for people with reduced mobility (PBL and PBF).
For spacious premises with high sound requirements
The movable walls's flexibility and stable construction make it suitable for use in partitioning large premises, for example, conference facilities, schools, hotels, restaurants and other public environments where activity and space often must change. With flexible movable walls solutions, new "rooms in the room" are quickly and smoothly created with sizes adapted for both larger and smaller groups.
The structure of the movable walls also makes it an excellent alternative in environments with high sound requirements. The insulation of the walls, surface layers and floor- and ceiling-seals prevent the spread of noise from room to room, which is an important property in the work environment.
Winab's movable walls are tested by the Swedish Testing and Research Institute and sound rated with a sound reduction corresponding to Rw 41 to 53 dB.
