Wayne Dalton Rolling Grilles offer security, visibility, and ventilation in a number of patterns and finishes for commercial, industrial, retail and institutional applications. Slide bolts or padlockable chains come standard based on operation selection. Additional locking options are available including cylinder locks and thumb turns. These rolling grilles also offer an emergency egress option as an additional security feature.
Rolling Grilles Model 600 are constructed with vertical aluminum links and horizontal steel rods with spacer tubes and end links that ensure that the grille cannot be pulled from guides. Rod construction comes standard as hollow steel; however, solid galvanized steel, aluminum or stainless steel rods are also available. The bottom bar is a tubular aluminum extrusion, providing stability and strength to the grille design. The counterbalance assembly consists of a spring barrel which serves as a load-carrying beam. It encases the counterbalance mechanism and provides the axis around which the curtain coils. (Deflection is limited to 0.033" per lineal foot of span.)
We offer options to accommodate special applications, including sloped bottom bars, curb cut out bottom bars and combination door mounts. Approximately 200 RAL powder coat colors are available for Model 600.
