Sun Tunnels are designed to direct natural light into areas of the house such as corridors, stairwells, bathrooms, etc where installation of a VELUX roof window is not possible or not appropriate. They can be installed on roof pitches from 15-60°.
The systems incorporate a flat glass rooflight and integrated flashing, a flexible or rigid tunnel and a two-layer frosted ceiling diffuser.
Rigid option is recommended for lengths between 0.9m and 1.7m (can be extended to a max 6.0m using tunnel extension sections).
Flexible option is recommended for lengths between 0.4m and 1.5m.
The frame and integrated flashing are made of polyurethane or lacquered aluminium and the sash and ceiling diffuser are made of plastic. All materials are maintenance free.
