FLAT-10 Mid Grey Roof Tile

The Flat-10 TECH is a new generation of clay roof tile, now lighter and with greater definition. Manufactured using plaster moulds and H-cassette production, we obtain a product with detail definition, more compact clay and very low absorption (< Klinker) and extremely strong. Flat-10 TECH complies with mountain climate and has perfect and deep interlocking fittings, being a reliable product at low slope (Moby Dick II tested – CTMNC -Paris). It is being used for pitched roofs and ventilated façades. Flat-10 TECH, a BorjaTECH product, is available in a wide range of finished, including BorjaJET. BorjaJET is the new Inkjet Technology, the digital printing system allows us to create finishes never used before in clay roof tile industry. It is a finishing process developed in Tejas Borja, unique in the world.
Specification
  • The Flat-10 TECH roof tile is a large compact flat clay roof tile, very light and strong. It is a perfectly flat format, without sloping on the upper surface. It has VARIABLE batten distance and it can be installed in a continuous or staggered formation. Flat-10 TECH is a product certified by Aenor, Afnor and complies to mountain climate. Characteristics of the Flat-10 TECH roof tile per unit: • Length: 475 mm • Width: 285 mm • Weight: 3.5 kg/ roof tiles • Units per sq.m.: 9.9 roof tiles • Batten distance - VARIABLE: 365 - 400 mm • Units per eave line: 4 roof tiles • Minimum slope recommended: 35% - 19º (*) • Useful width: 250 mm • Pack: 5 roof tiles Tejas Borja recommends dry installation for Flat-10 TECH roof tile, using screws or special roofing adhesive. The Flat-10 TECH roof tile has pre-marked holes specially designed for screw installation. If the roof tiles are installed on battens, the useful length must be calculated on site. A tolerance of ± 2% is allowed on the dimensions of the roof tiles according to UNE-EN 1024. To ensure the good performance of the roof, the under-tile ventilation is always necessary. This will guarantee the durability of the Flat-10 TECH roof tiles used to build up the roof with their optimal characteristics, improving the hygrothermal performance of the roof against the moisture resulting from condensation. Installation must comply with Code of practice for the design and fixing of roofs with clay roofing tiles for the region and Tejas Borja specifications. (*) In zone 1 (protected area), arranged in staggered formation with waterproof laminate and batten distance of 365mm on a skirt of up to 6.5 m. Check pitch panel according to the roof length and the geographical area according to UNE-EN 136020.
