MasterSeal Roof 2689 Roof waterproofing system with polyurea membrane. With ETA approval according ETAG 005 part 6, BBA or EAD 030350-00-0402 Primer: According substrate. Membrane: MasterSeal M 689, Two component pure polyurea, pigmented, elastic, highly reactive, spray applied waterproofing membrane with short curing time. Topcoat: Not mandatory. MasterSeal TC 259 or TC 269, UV resistant protective top sealer optional use. For more information, please contact your local Master Builders Solutions representative.
Specification
  • Application of one coat with minimum total minimum thickness of 2 mm of two-component, 100% solid content, polyurea waterproof membrane MasterSeal M 689 from Master Builders Solutions (or analogous). To apply the product a two component heated, high pressure, proportioning spray equipment will be used. The system includes the application of primer according substrate. Membrane is UV resistant but for aesthetical reasons a topcoat can be used. The complete system must have certification according ETAG 005 part 6, BBA or EAD 030350-00-0402 with following characteristics: - Working life: W3 (25 years) - Climatic zone: Moderate - Severe - Imposed loads: P1 – P4 (non compressible substrate) - Roof slopes: S1 - S4 - Lowest surface temperature: TL4 (-30ºC) - Highest surface temperature: TH4 (+90ºC) Additionally, the waterproofing membrane will show evidence of fulfilling following characteristics: - Abrasion resistance (EN ISO 5470-1, Taber H22, 1000 g, 1000 c): < 300 mg - Impact resistance (EN ISO 6271-1): ≥ 20 Nm - Crack bridging (Static, EN 1062-7 A): A = A5 - Crack bridging (Dynamic, EN 1062-7 B): B ≥ B4.1 - Exposure to pedestrian traffic after (at 20ºC): 2 hours - Reaction to fire (EN 13501 part 1): Cfl-s1 - Resistance to spreading fire and radiant heat (EN 13501 part 5): BRoof (t4) - Root resistance acc. CEN/TS 14416
