Aluminium Window system with a basic depth of 70 mm as pivot window

The Schüco AWS 70.HI (Thermally Highly Insulated) window system offers an extensive range of solutions for a variety of building envelope requirements for the 70 mm basic depth.

  • Uf value of 1.7 W/(m²K) (face width 117 mm)
  • Enhanced insulation zone with foam-filled insulating bars
  • Extensive range of profiles with face widths from 26 to 250 mm
  • Insert outer frame with adapter gasket for different glazing thicknesses
  • Burglar resistance up to WK3 (RC 3) in accordance with DIN V ENV 1627
Specification
  • Schüco AWS 70.HI, highly thermally insulated aluminium window system. 
    With 70 mm basic depth.

    Design features:

    Face-fitted vent frame on the room side rebated by 10 mm from the frame edge, flush-fitted on the outside. The high-volume hollow chamber profile centre gasket is located in the area of the insulation zone. The system must be fitted with square glazing beads. The glazing beads are installed with plastic clips to compensate tolerances. For increased thermal insulation, glazing gaskets with fins must be used.
