    Tee F x Rp thread x F - Stainless steel press fitting - V profile - FRABOPRESS 316 V

    Frabo

    FRABOPRESS 316 V is the ideal system for the distribution of drinking water and cold and hot sanitary water, heating systems, treated water and rainwater conveyance systems, compressed air systems, fire prevention systems.

    This range is equipped with SECURFRABO, the patented system by FRABO, which allows any unpressed fitting to be immediately detected. Its behaviour and mechanical performance are particularly good in contact with hot water and steam. The EPDM O-Ring complies with the requirements of the materials in contact with drinking water according to European legislation EN 681-1.

    FRABOPRESS 316 V ADVANTAGES:

    • Patented safety system SECURFRABO;
    • Ideal system for drinking water distribution;
    • High-quality material: AISI 316L stainless steel;
    • Speed of operation, saving time and offering increased productivity levels;
    • Gaskets can be fitted without welding, eliminating the risk of fire in more hazardous situations (working in older buildings, furnished rooms, etc.);
    • Elimination of all welding materials, with inevitable cost benefits;
    • Junctions free from burning or rings with an excellent immediate visual impact;
    • Integrity of pipe insulation thanks to the absence of heat sources.

    FRABOPRESS 316 V IS SUITABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING FIELDS OF APPLICATIONS:

    • Sanitary water
    • Drinking water
    • Heating
    • Cooling
    • Fire prevention
    • Oil free compressed air
    • Solar*
    • Steam *
    • Sprinkler

    * It is necessary to use green O-Ring in FKM

    Specification
    • FRABOPRESS 316 V is a system made of pipes and fittings in stainless steel, material type 1.4401 (AISI 316L), complying with the requirements of UNI 11179 Class 1 standard, equipped with a cylindrical guide for the correct and safe insertion of the pipe and a preassembled elastomeric sealing element in black EPDM complying with UNI EN 681-1 standard.

      FRABOPRESS 316 V fittings are equipped with the SECURFRABO safety system, whose functionality is tested in accordance with the DWGW W 534 work sheet (Point 12.14 - Fittings with controlled leakage), which allows any un-pressed fittings to be detected. During leakage tests with water, Securfrabo system guarantees the identification of un-pressed connection in the pressure range from 1 bar to 6.5 bar.

      The pressing of the fittings is to be carried out with a suitable tool and with a correctly maintained pressing jaw, so as to achieve an indissoluble cold junction, resistant to torsion, and a hydraulic seal guaranteed by the O-ring. The right junction of Frabo fittings guarantees the use of the system considering a maximum temperature of 110 ° C, a minimum temperature of -10 ° C and a maximum pressure of 16 bar (conditions related to the transport of water).

      All the components of the FRABOPRESS 316 V system comply with the D.M. 174-04 for use in sanitary water systems.

      FRABOPRESS 316 V system can be used for the following applications:

      • Sanitary water circuit systems
      • Drinking water circuit systems
      • Heating and cooling circuit systems
      • Oil free compressed air circuit systems (residual oil <5 mg/m³)
      • Compressed air circuit systems (residual oil >5 mg/m3)**
      • Fire prevention systems according to UNI 10779*
      • Sprinkler units according to UNI 12845*
      • Solar circuit systems**
      • Rainwater installations
      • Low pressure steam systems
      • Inert technical gas distribution systems ***
      • Naval plants***

      * Sprinkler fire-fighting systems. Please contact our technical department for further information regarding fire protection applications

      ** for this application GREEN FKM O-RING must be used
