REHAU | GENEO | DOORS | SLIDING

REHAU revolutionized the window market in 2008 with RAU-FIPRO. The principle of fiber-reinforced composite materials, previously known primarily from racing or aircraft construction, was probably used for windows. RAU-FIPRO has combined the best properties from the worlds of plastic and glass fiber into a new type of material. The profiles themselves are up to 40% lighter than competitive systems. Processing and assembly.

The recipe for success

Maximum window sizes due to up to 50% higher stability with pure PVC windows.

Best energy efficiency due to significantly fewer thermal bridges. For the first time, individual forms can be fully reinforced right down to the corners – and all without steel. A lot has changed since then: from new architectural styles and individual requirements for window design and functions to the desire for more sustainability.

But REHAU wouldn't be REHAU if we weren't constantly working to create windows that are as modern as your life.

90% of all frames made from GENEO RAU-FIPRO X do not require metal reinforcement, which means that unfavorable thermal bridges cannot arise in the first place. And in connection with triple insulating glazing, they achieve exemplary Uw values of up to 0.60 W/m2K and thus enable energy savings of up to 76%*. Large glass surfaces also ensure solar energy gains.

Noise makes you ill, even if you are no longer consciously aware of it. Windows made of GENEO RAU-FIPRO X improve the quality of life because they reduce noise by up to 48 decibels. This corresponds to a noise reduction of up to 26 times.

Windows made of GENEO RAU-FIPRO X easily achieve resistance class RC 2. And even the requirements of resistance class RC 3 can be easily met with appropriate additional measures. Windows with resistance class RC 1 have a low burglary protection and can therefore be overcome in a relatively short time. With higher resistance classes, on the other hand, significantly more time and, above all, heavy tools are required.

The low weight of the profiles made from RAU-FIPRO X makes handling easier, even with large and heavy sashes. A new sealing geometry also reduces the closing pressure and ensures feather-light opening and closing.

As a global manufacturing company, REHAU also bears a special responsibility for people and the environment. It therefore goes without saying that we continuously optimize our use of resources and energy efficiency in our plants and our products. By 2020, REHAU will invest more than 65 million euros in the company's own and external recycling systems in order to conserve resources in the long term.
