They are 2-coat, 1 mil total thickness coatings composed of a low bake waterborne primer and waterborne topcoats. Environ coatings are designed for use on aluminum substrates, while Environ ST coatings are designed exclusively for use on steel substrates including hot dip galvanized, Galfan, Galvalume and Zincalume. They offer significant advantages to end users and coil coaters due to their excellent adhesion and resistance to water staining and softening.
