Whenchoosing your solution, there are five factors you need to consider:
- Crack bridging: With high chemical resistance, crack bridgingcapabilities generally decrease. Nevertheless, our membranes combine highchemical resistance with elasticity that prevents leakages in case of movingsubstrates.
- Temperature resistance: Potential maximum spill temperaturehas to be determined for the optimal selection of the lining.
- Traffic requirements: Different solutions are available tomeet the needs of different types and levels of traffic.
- Application method: The type of substrate, access to the site, and other details will all influence whether liner, fully bonded membrane, spray, or hand application is the best method.
- Chemical resistance: To ensure optimum protection, the chosen system needs to offer maximum resistance against the substances you plan tostore. A period of 72 hours is considered to be the minimum. Nevertheless, alonger durability of the membrane in contact with the chemicals reduces the needfor repairs in case of occasional spillages.
