Architectural concrete H-BLANC

White concrete for architectural use H-BLANC is an innovative range of white concrete for architectural use, which allows the construction of structures of great beauty that do not require any additional coating/facing. H-BLANC is manufactured with raw materials selected to guarantee the homogeneity of the aesthetic performance of prepared concrete, in architectural and civil engineering works that require exceptional finishes and high luminosity. It is possible to use cements of our i.active range, based on TX Active® photocatalytic technology, thus giving H-BLANC decontaminating capacity, allowing to reduce the maintenance of its surfaces and to improve the air quality. The whiteness index of the cement and the color of the aggregates being used, especially the fine fraction, influence the lightness of H-BLANC. It will be lighter when the used gravels and sand are less dark. The yellowish sands will give a warm white hue, while the gray ones will produce cooler whites. The color or hue we will obtain depends also on the sand. The advantages of using H-BLANC are the following: • It has a high aesthetic value. • Allows the use of different granulometry or aggregate characteristics and allows the user to generate different textures and use of color. • With its greater reflectance it helps to reduce the heat island effect in cities and their environments • With the photocatalytic cement, it is equipped with new functionalities, it helps to minimize the maintenance of its surfaces and preserve the initial architectural features, besides contributing positively to decontamination. • It can be recycled at the end of its life cycle • It is used as an unique material of great durability, avoiding the use of other coating and finishing materials. • It presents an excellent behavior against climatic alterations and physical-chemical aggressions of the environment, especially if photocatalytic cement is used. • In a self-compacting version, it guarantees better safety conditions and less noise on site.
