    PREPRUFE® Plus

    PREPRUFE® Plus waterproof membranes are composite sheets comprising a robust virgin HDPE backing, a pressure sensitive adhesive and a trafficable weather resistant coating with dual adhesive PREPRUFE® ZipLap™ for increased security and practicability at overlap. With their Advanced Bond Technology™, the membranes develop a continuous adhesive bond to concrete poured on or against it, preventing water migration between the structure and the membrane, significantly improving protection against leaks.

    BITUTHENE® 8000/8000S 

    BITUTHENE® 8000/8000S combines the proven BITUTHENE® adhesive technology with a unique, grey coloured carrier film to provide superior performance and easier installation.

    Specification
    • PREPRUFE® Plus

      Integrally bonded HDPE sheet waterproofing with dual adhesive laps for pre-applied waterproofing applications for installation below slab. Basis of design is PREPRUFE® 300R Plus by GCP Applied Technologies. 

      Membrane shall be 1.2mm thick, uniform, flexible sheets consisting of 0.8mm thick, HDPE sheet coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, a trafficable weather resistant coating.  
      The membrane shall have a kick-out roll function to facilitate ease of application and shall have no release liner to reduce the environmental impact. Continuity between adjacent sheets shall be assured with dual adhesive laps. The membrane shall form an integral and permanent bond to placed concrete to prevent water migration at the interface of the membrane and structural concrete.  
      The membrane shall be chemically resistant and protect the structure from salt and sulphate attack.  It shall have been proven to be tested to a resist a minimum lateral water migration of 70m head of water (686kpa), at the membrane concrete interface and have a zero permeance to moisture, it will not activate prematurely due to wet conditions and is unaffected by ground settlement beneath slabs.

      BITUTHENE® 8000/8000S 

      Integrally bonded Bituminous/ HDPE sheet waterproofing with self adhesive laps for post applied waterproofing applications. Basis of design is GCP BITUTHENE® 8000 by GCP Applied Technologies. 

      The membrane shall be formed of a, flexible, multi-layered composite sheet membrane comprising a thick grey HDPE film with an highly aggressive bituminous adhesive.  The membrane is specially formulated to allow application to “green concrete” and able to be applied in damp or marginal weather conditions with the use of a moisture tolerant primer system. Typically employed vertically, for below slab or with soil retention systems refer to either PREPRUFE® 160R / PREPRUFE® 300R (J40/297) or consult GCP Applied Technologies for further guidance.
