S2-E40 Cast in Place Stair Nosings

The S2-E40 installs flush into wet concrete, creating a safer step. The aluminum stair tread protects the edge of your concrete steps from wear and tear, while protecting patrons and residents from slip and trip accidents. The photoluminescent properties of this luminous egress path marking product is unmatched and is guaranteed to light up any egress path for hours. The stark contrast between the non-slip group and photoluminescent strips provides step-edge visibility in any lighting condition.

Specification

General Information
- Install into wet concrete. Used on concrete stairs, concrete-filled steel pan stairs, and pre-cast concrete stairs. Install ½” (25mm) back from the front of the step.
- Available in cut to length sizes. (Tolerance +or- 1/8”) Standard lengths are 8ft and 10ft.
- Inserts Attached or Unattached – Inserts unattached can be installed later to ensure the product is clean and has not been damaged during construction. Inserts are installed with a premium polyurethane adhesive.
- A clear protective tape wraps around the product to keep it clean during installation. To remove, cut the tape along the edges and peel away.
- Weight: 0.49 lbs/ft.
Aluminum Finish
- 6063-T5 Mill finish aluminum with a clear acrylic lacquer finish to prevent corrosion.
