beControl-Liquid shrinkage compensating concrete

Shrinkage compensating concretes, referred to by the term beFreeJ, are prepared with non-metallic expansive agents (Expansive Agent: EA) and shrinkage reducing additives (Shrinkage Reducing Admixture: SRA) based on ethylene glycols. The synergy achieved by the combined action of EA and SRA places beFreeJ concretes among the conglomerates with the highest scientific and technological content for the practical possibility of developing reinforced concrete structures immune to the risk of cracking and warping caused by drying shrinkage of the conglomerate. Concretes in the beFreeJ family are therefore perfect for thin slabs, and in particular for the development of industrial floors free of expansion joints, even when, for reasons tied to the need to respect values determined by the design, the thickness of the slab is very modest and less than 12 cm. Moreover, beFreeJ concrete solutions are specifically designed for the repair and maintenance of existing structures in reinforced concrete, requiring the reconstruction of concrete that is either damaged or needs reinforcing.
